Kaizen Process: Insuring You Achieve Expected Results

Many organizations use the Kaizen Process for making improvements in their operations. The Kaizen activity does not always achieve the required result. The success of any improvement project requires effective planning, execution, and follow-up.

By attending this clinic presentation, you will get:

How to select opportunities a Kaizen event

Understand the steps for planning, execution, and follow.

Understand how to look for and avoid issues that can impact a Kaizen project.

Our speaker: Ed Matthews

Ed retired from Honeywell in 2017 with over 35 years’ experience in leadership. He has held positions of increasing responsibility that include Operations Manager, District General Manager, Six Sigma Leader, Manager Quality Assurance, Lean Management System Leader, and Corporate Process Excellence Leader at Honeywell International. Ed has received numerous awards for operational leadership and people development. Ed is a certified Black Belt (ASQ), Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (ASQ), and Lean Master (Honeywell). He has mentored and coached over 25 Honeywell employees toward their Certification as Lean Experts. Ed holds a B.S. Management and MBA from Rutgers University (NJ). Ed is currently the ASQ Regional Director – Region 7. He has held past Orange Empire Section Leadership roles including Section Chair.

Recertification

Are your certifications due for renewal? ASQ allows you to submit your recertification application up to six months before and after the due date. The RUs must occur within the recertification period. There is now an online RU Recertification Journal available at ASQ.org. The RU journal allows you to log your points in online as you complete them over the three year period. hps://asq.org/cert/myru

If you prefer, you may mail paper copies of your journal, supporting documentation and ASQ payment to:
